This is a logo for my school that I created using Adobe Illustrator. My audience for this piece is parents and students, both potential and current members of S.O.L.E. Alternative school. This piece uses shape, colour, balance, and emphasis to create a visually pleasing logo. I used shape and colour by adding stars and making the logo a bright blue and yellow, and both of the shapes and colours are associated with positivity. I used balance and emphasis by centering the typography of the logo, so the picture is balanced and draws your eyes to the letters in the centre of the piece. I intended for this piece to make the school I’m advertising look like a positive and good learning environment, and I hope I succeeded.
